The system meets all the up-to-date requirements for providing personal data protection. It has facilities for auditing users’ activity; the important users’ activity should be confirmed with the electronic digital signature thus excluding data integrity crippling.
 
Registration and Planning in SaKura HIS

It is a high-powered tool for communication with the guests which serves for guests' and doctors' time optimization. The component allows efficient identification of a patient by his surname, name, patronymic, birth date, bar-code and magnetic cards, personal number and access code. A typical hospital web site ensures connection of patients to the system via computer or mobile phone with an Internet connection.
We were among the first to integrate special remote computer terminals into the system that allow the guests to schedule a doctor's appointment, view their electronic medical records and leave comments on the quality of healthcare services without any assistance.
SaKura HIS has a built-in appointment planner for efficient scheduling of doctors’ appointments and its prompt adaptation to external changes. This allows efficient use of the sanatorium human resources and the minimum possible time spent by the patient to obtain healthcare services. When a guest schedules a doctor’s appointment, the appointment planner automatically compiles an e-mail or SMS.
The “Registration and Planning” component allows efficient planning and use of sanatorium human resources and avoids wasted time spent by guests in queues.
 

 Electronic Medical Record

SaKura HIS is a full-range system providing medical staff with a prompt access to electronic guests’ health data. By means of electronic health card (EMR) the doctors gather complete patient’s health data by combining all the information from different specialists involved in treatment or preventive therapy in a single electronic document. The simple technology of expanding information allows quick adding of text and graphics files transmitted from the automatic diagnostic machines. EMR provides the doctors with instant and point-of-care access to long-term medical records.
A guest can also add some scanned files and personal observations records to EMR from his own computer. Users have 24/7 safe access to EMR data by means of certified protection facilities.
SaKura system implements a flexible security model with a configurable system of locks and keys. Protection facilities provide secure restricted access to healthcare information, user functions and individual records and data. A user’s security profile determines set of keys and locks through which the user gets access to EMR personal data and its specific working functions. In the process the system registers all internal and external events.

User interfaces for doctor were developed in cooperation with the clinicians; they have a great amount of individual settings. The system has role models for clinicians of all specializations thus allowing preliminary organization of a workstation for a specialist by means of settings, whether for a therapist, surgeon or radiologist. The users are authorized to access approved electronic documents, view and edit them, access special reference books and medical records templates.
A doctor is authorized to compile records in EMR by coping them from the other documents, compiling  documents from separate text and graphic fragments.
 

SaKura HIS includes cure and prevention reference books of the clinical pathways. Thus by simple selection from the advisable list one can draw a plan of guest’s health improvement according to a chosen pathway that ensures high quality medical service. Records on consultations, pharmaceutical treatment, diagnostics and laboratory examinations load at the corresponding specialists’ workstations automatically. The system records the whole process from medications prescription to taking, at the same time controlling contra-indications, doses and medications interactions. The system is provided with an analytical unit, allowing automatical estimation of medications effectiveness according to the criteria specified.
 

SaKura HIS is a self-adjusting multiuser system serving for control and coordination of the whole treatment process for the treatment to be highly effective. Work of the system will be especially effective when used for several corporate sanatoriums and healthcare institutions as in this case common data and reference bases are available for support. SaKura HIS is a complete list of approved public medical reporting forms. A build-in reporting forms generator allows the system administrator and users to compile new forms of documents unassisted; and using system templates reference book one can compile forms of record sheets, clinical investigations, referrals, prescriptions and blanks.
SaKura HIS is easy configurable to match the structure and membership of healthcare institutions and sanatorium-preventoriums. The basic data for configuration is the registry of the institution clinicians containing data on their employment place, specialization and attestation. All individual settings are made remotely by our system implementation specialists or the institution system administrator and assigned to users during system implementation to regulate access to guests personal data.
