Description: Central City Hospital is founded in 1982. All these years the staff has been trying to do their best to render qualified and timely aid to city's and rayon's population. Lately the highly specialized doctors' offices are provided with modern equipment, there is a vision treatment and correction room, a periodic health examination room. The resource base of the out-patient department and women's health center is constantly developing, nearly all rooms which are necessary for efficient services operation, are deployed.

3. Implementation Process:

Medotrade’s staff implemented Patient HIS in the Center City Hospital in March, 2008. The beginning of the implementation consisted of preliminary setting up of users rights and mail system directories. 
The hospital staff was provided with a computer class for training where training with doctors, receptionists and laboratory assistants took place.
In 2009 operational testing started and some recording forms were improved accroding to the staff's notes and suggestions. Since the middle of 2009 Patient HIS has been operated by the hospital staff in full force.

4. Implementation results:

Due to implementation the children's and grown-ups' out-patient departments, women's health center and paraclinical unit were automated. More than 200 users work in the system. The sytem of work time planning allowed to reduce the time for appointment scheduling. The first self-registration terminals were set in the halls of the grown-ups' out-patient department of the Center City Hospital. Using them the patients choose convinient time for appointment with a medical specialist  easily and quickly and get a slip for a doctor's appontment. The patients note the terminal is easy and convenient to work with. Due to the new self-registration system everybody visits a necessary doctor in the appointed time without standing in queue to a reception-desk.
